Cà dei Frati in Sirmione is one of the most famous wineries in the Lugana region on Lake Garda. The 4th generation family-run business produces white, red, rosé and sweet wines, sparkling wines and grappas – all of them excellent. The “I Frati Lugana Doc” is made from the local Turbiana grape variety. Turbiana grape variety, all the others are cuvées.
The white wines are Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Turbiana; the rosés are Barbera, Groppello, Marzemino and Sangiovese; the red wines are Cabernet, Corvina, Corvinone, Croatina, Marzemino and Sangiovese; the sweet wines are Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Turbiana.

The Cà Maiol winery in Desenzano is known for its range of balanced Luganas from the Turbiana grape variety. White, rosé, red and sweet wines as well as sparkling wines are offered in two product lines two product lines: “Linesa Selezione” and “Linea Classica”.
The estate’s grape varieties are Barbera, Groppello, Marzemino, Sangiovese and Turbiana. A speciality is the giomè, a Rosso based on two components: Groppello, the indigenous grape variety from the backlands of Lake Garda, and a cuvée of the Marzemino, Barbera and Sangiovese varieties.
